Happy birthday, Chompoo ! (part 1)

Chompoo (the little cutie dressed in yellow) is Amelie & Anjali's little friend. She turned 2 today (July 24) so we had a small party at our house in her honour. The kids had plenty of fun!

Still my babies ...

I know, I know... there was one time when all I use to post about were my cats and dogs... Times have changed, priorities have shifted but my furry children are still happy and loved! Here are just some of them :)

p.s. I wish my human babies were as easy to photograph as my furry ones!!!

Diaper-free , at last!

Toilet training wasn't particularly hard for Amelie. She was (still is) a fast learner. What I had to struggle for was to make her switch from diapers to panties. It seems my efforts and patience are paying off... Hope this lasts... because she will turn 3 in just a few months...

It's all about Koko ...

These days, Koko is becoming a more and more difficult subject to photograph... Mostly because all she wants is to be in Mommy's arms and Mommy has no one available to take photos for her while she holds Koko... Some other times, Koko is too busy exploring her world and doing her stuff and you can try to attract her attention all you want it won't make her interested... Koko also dislikes having her hair combed during the day even though it's been all messed up from her nap... So these are the kind of photos I end up with... but I love them nevertheless because they are so HER !

A delightful Sunday !

Relatives from Canada are here to visit and it is truly refreshing to have all these beautiful young people around :) They have just left yesterday for Luangpabang but we can't wait for them to return to us again in a few days :)

Papa's birthday (June 5)

I lost count of how many times we had to sing and re sing the happy birthday tune and blow the candles and then relight them and start over... the girls kept asking for 'one more time!'

Miss Amelie :)

Enjoying her latest tricycle :)

Just Anjali, being herself :)

I always have the hardest time photographing my girls because, like all children, they are in constant motion. It's rare that I manage to get a sharp shot so you can imagine I was happy to get this picture of Anjali :)
